I came up with this name “Scrapblogging” from Scrapbooking. I like to collect articles which I find interesting and useful to me. Gone are the days where we cut the articles from the magazines and prettify it in scrapbook. I have plenty of those and it gather dust in my place.

Now that the internet is available to us, I love to bookmark the articles that I found interesting and useful as well. But after too many bookmarking, it got crowded and got lost in my too many files.

Then one day, I came across with an article saying that we can do whatever in your blogsite, (your thoughts, to share what you love and hate, and etc.) if you have plenty of time in your hands. Plus, it can make money, not bad then.

Also, you can blog just for your own consumption, doesn’t matter if you have a follower or nobody’s reading your blog. Hmmmm…I’m not a good writer nor very articulate in a language where I don’t have the fluency on it. But, when I was young I dreamt to be a writer of a novel or something like that. ( I have no idea at all how to write, just for your information hehehe). It says, if you can write an email, then you can write a blog.

One day, my husband and I were talking and he asked me what was my passion, that if I think of pursuing it. He told me to soul search and he gave me a deadline ( very demanding husband.. hehehe). I told him that since I’m approaching 50 years old, I want to do something which I enjoy until I get very old.

I would love to travel the world but of course I need the resources to do that. Then, I love photography which involves travelling too. So, I shelve that until I have the resources to do that. Then, I remember my passion when I was a little girl, dreamed to be a writer. So, here I am.

It’s not too late to do the things that you love to do. Everything and anything is possible nowadays. With the social media power, we can be whatever we want to be (celebrity in our own way hehehe…).
